Healthy Hair Tips From The Inside Out
Hello Lovely Locks, today I want to share some information on diet, exercise, stress and how they impact our hair. Hair is an extension of the body, so naturally we have to have a healthy body to get healthy hair. Eating foods rich in vitamin C and eating flax seeds contribute to good health. Keep Vitamin C rich foods handy and snack on them throughout the day. Ground flax seeds are loaded with healthy Omega-3 fatty acid and antioxidants which feed the follicles and moisturize the scalp making hair stronger and more resistant to breakage, and dandruff. They also make hair strands more elastic.
Exercise is a great way to improve circulation of nutrients and oxygenated blood to the hair follicles. As little as 15 minutes a day of light cardio will do the trick. My wonderful Scalp Matrix hair oil works best when applied to a well oxygenated scalp; this helps it to get into the follicles to work its MAGIC!
Last but not least, eliminate stress. Did you know that when we are constantly stressed it shows in our skin, hair, overall health; hair becomes more prone to breakage, dryness, stunted growth. Sometimes we can eliminate stress by changing how we think and how we do things. No, we can never TOTALLY eliminate stress, but try to keep your life organized. Drink lots of fluids (your hair and body will love it!). My Mantra is “Don’t stress over things you have no control”
